Cybersecurity Resources
Introduction
Aware, Assess, Act. Cybersecurity is critical and should be part of every budget and insurance policy. Period. Hackers no longer seem to target the easy organizations with lots of valuable data. They go after soft targets, meaning other organizations or individuals regardless of if your data is valuable to just your or to someone else. The purpose of ransomware, which I’m sure you’ve been hearing a lot about in your industry newsletter or on the news, is to cause your normal operations to cease until you pay money.
In addition to me, I’ve created the below list of excellent resources to learn more about cybersecurity, so you can start thinking with a security mindset and begin asking the right questions and determine what help you need in protecting yourself or your business.
Protect yourself from:
- breaches, hacks, loss of personal data
- ransomware
- phishing attacks to trick users to give away sensitive information
- denial of service attacks
- loss of your backup system
